At the bottom of this page are the results that have been recorded thus far.Psychic means of the soul. Our souls are our connection to God. If we are directly linked to God, then of course we have access to information beyond our five senses. This is a wonderful gift that needs to be nurtured. These gifts can bring a wealth of information to your child, making the world a less confusing place.
Here at A Place of Light, we do not label children with names such as indigo, crystal, starseed and the like. We feel their individual names are enough of a label. Most of the descriptions of the above labels relate to personality characteristics rather than intuitive abilities, and it is the intuitive abilities with which we are concerned here. Your child is an individual unlike any other sentient being in the Universe!

One of the most profound things you as a parent can do to awaken your children ís desire to reach for their own natural potential is to give them your full awareness and attention. This doesn't mean hovering over them, projecting your every fear, and being a control freak. Nor does it mean abandoning your own path. It simply means being conscious enough of them as individuals and giving them enough of your interested presence to help them want to discover for themselves who they are and what great things they can achieve. Every time you need guidance, counsel, direction, or simply assurance, close your eyes, take in a few deep cleansing breaths, then place your attention directly on your heart. Allow your focus to rest there quietly for a moment or two, then ask your heart to guide you. Trust whatever feelings come up. Don't censor or discount a thing. If nothing comes to you from the heart immediately, don't worry. Relax. Remain open and patient. Guidance will come before you know it. Pg 65
Our Work with Families at A Place of Light
Steve and Susan work with families in sessions, helping them to discover their abilities and how they can work together to strengthen them. These sessions can vary from a 3 hour session, recommended when the children are very young, to an all day session, which includes lunch.
During these sessions, Steve and Susan are led by spirit to know how to best help your family. Activities in previous sessions have included

Our Distance Work with Intuitive Children
We frequently get e-mails or phone calls from those who live far from Massachusetts. Fortunately with today's technology and the timelessness and spacelessness (is that a word???) of energy work, we can frequently help.
One thing we offer is assistance with school related difficulties. With long experience as both a teacher, administrator and advocate, susan gale has a good insight into the thinking of those who work in the schools. She also is familiar with the laws that regulate the special services offered by schools. She can also help you with finding and/or developing activities for your home schooled child. I have an acutely sensitive son, Alex, who often feels overwhelmed and
bombarded by the stimulus overload in our environments and school. As a result,
he can be reactive or retreat into his shell. At times he is terribly
misunderstood by others. Unfortunately, this impacts his school life.
Alex is creatively gifted and often perceives life in innovative ways. He is
also very intuitive. I have been trying to figure out how to develop and nurture
his gifts and started to search the Internet for solutions. I was so Blessed to
happen upon "A Place of Light. " Susan has helped to guide us, and has given us
insight into opening to one's intuition. This has been a tremendous help dealing
with my son's situation. This past week was an amazing demonstration of the
powerful effect this has had on me in opening my eyes to see my son's abilities
and connect with his own intuition. I think other parents with children who have
special gifts, will appreciate this story:
One evening last week in speaking with Susan, she recommended burning sage
bundles in the home. Alex had no knowledge of any of this. The sage is used in
native Americans ritual to cleanse and purify one's "space." Alex had never seen
the sage bundles before, nor did he know of their use, and we had not discussed
the plan. Yet, that very next morning, Alex was the first one up and the very
first thing he did was to bring the sage to me. It had been tucked away in a
drawer that Alex had never explored! He also decided to take the sage to school,
where much of the healing and purifying is needed. It seems symbolic.
Alex felt the impulse to get the sage I believe because unconsciously he
telepathically knew what had been discussed. These are frequent occurrences with
Alex. I had not really been paying attention, too wrapped up in the day to day
to really be a mother at Home (present for my child). This is a process for me.
I have so much to learn and by no means am I there yet. Things are starting to
shake loose. What I am learning is to tune into my child and appreciate him and
see these things that I never took the time to see before. When I follow my
intuition, the path of my heart, Nature will support these efforts with people
and places like a "Place of Light" and I will have the strength and clarity to

For some time we have had our questionnaire, Is Your Child Intuitive?, posted here on the site. Below are the topics with the corresponding results and some comments. We have not yet had the opportunity to tabulate the hundreds of responses as a result of the airing of Psychic Children: Their Sixth Sense. The results below represent 15 responses.

Dreams come
true: 6
According to the Cayce Readings, all that happens to us is dreamed first. This accounts for the sense of deja vu! It is a good idea to help your child keep a journal of dreams. Recently, when reviewing her journal, Susan realized that she had dreamed of the house where A Place of Light is located back in the 1980ís! That is why she had immediate recognition upon first seeing it!
Telepathy: 13
Telepathy
is the ability to "dial in" to the thoughts of others. Eighty percent of those
answering the questionnaire said that their children knew what they were going
to say before they even said it! Parents need to take care of those thoughts
when they know their children are telepathic.
Telepathy can be useful in a number of circumstances. I have one granddaughter
who does not care for reading, but is a whiz at class discussions. She simply
zooms in on the teacher's thoughts, which are, of course, the answer to the
question at hand! She also remembers the material she learns this way.
Spirit friends: 13
Many made comments on the spirit friends and animals that their children saw and
spoke with. A better term would be spirit friends, but imaginary was used as it
is a better understood term at the present time! Here are the comments:

died in February. When she was three, she had a playmate of the spirit of a
six-year-old car accident victim who has since crossed over into the light. |

Sensitive to the Environment: 14
With this question, it became clear that it should have had two parts: sensitive
to people and sensitive to the natural environment. This topic too inspired
comments. It is very important for children (and adults) to learn how to handle
their sensitivities so that they do not become overwhelmed. This is one of the
things we teach here at the Center.

The ability to tune in to lights and colors is similar to that of telepathy in that the person can resonate with the frequency of the energy. This is an extremely useful tool when understanding people or seeing health issues.

Precognition: 5
Precognition is the ability to see into the future. One third of the children
whose parents completed the questionnaire had shown this ability.
Pop up out of nowhere: 8
I included this as it suggests the ability to teleport oneself. I simply cannot imagine physically keeping up with a child with this ability!
