Living in Your Heart
We will be starting a new class February 6 at 6 PM! You can join up to March 13.

Imagine a life where you recognize your intuition and trust it, understanding that intuition is actually your first language. For here at A Place of Light, we believe that intuition is the language of soul as it reads and interacts with the energy of anything in the universe.
In the security of a loving, small group, what if you could learn how you uniquely interact with energy, coming to an understanding of your personal symbols and meanings instead of trying to fit into someone's system of this means this and that means that?

What if you could feel unburdened and unbound with skills that allow you to handle the energy of any given situation? What if you found a way of life that gave you a soft and constant comfort, yet also power, a kind of electric peace? This is how some of the students describe their lives after studying in the Living in Your Heart class.

No matter whether you are just curious about your intuition or are deeply disturbed by the unexplained psychic events in your life, you can find your own answers through class participation.
As you practice, you come to a deep understanding of your relationship with energy that allows you to heal, help others, and keep your own life on an even keel
WHO COMES TO LIVING IN YOUR HEART?

Encouraging intergenerational interaction, we have had priests, members of various tribal nations, Buddhists, Christians, Jews, pagans and atheists study together without finding any disharmony with their personal faith or way of life. Others, as a personal choice, have developed an entirely new set of personal beliefs about how to guide their lives. We do not promote any specific beliefs except to walk in love and compassion.
WHAT'S IT LIKE TO STUDY IN A LIVING IN YOUR HEART CLASS?

First, it is a gradual process. No microwave moments here!
We spend a lot of time learning to pay attention to the energy of all things, taking notice of how our body feels while doing so and how we receive that energy. We learn our personal and unique symbols.
We also devote a lot of time to our thoughts and how they can obscure our intuitive knowing.
Exploration is the name of the game here. We explore many ways to receive energy as well as how we receive energy without being aware which gets us off balance.
Experiential in nature, we are earth based in our approach, borrowing from the indigenous teachings we were given long ago by an indigenous man who was raised on the Hopi-Navajo reservation.
Gently we move through the practice of being one with various natural objects as well as other aspects of nature. As we learn about the “medicine” of these things, we are moving our way towards learning indigenous style healing. It is not a “modality” but rather what we were taught by this same individual, based on thousands of years of practice.
All of this takes months as we go slowly and carefully into this way of life where oneness is practiced. For many, it is a brand-new paradigm to consider.
Throughout all of this you are made aware of the practicality of these practices.
Once we have the basics in hand, although by no means mastered, we begin to explore ways we receive our intuitive knowing. This leads to a lot of practice of things like telepathy, reading what is in a closed envelope, remote viewing, seeing past lives of others, and more.
Underlying all of these activities are four practices:
Because this is a very different approach, some people get impatient or do not grasp the substance of the knowledge. They leave very quickly without giving it a chance to take hold. Those who stay do so for years as they keep learning and also come to develop a sense of community with the others in the class as they study together.
As students continue to practice, life becomes more manageable. Stress is seen as a choice rather as inevitable. But, best of all, oneness with all that is becomes achievable providing a richer and more expansive experience with life.
While this was not the intent of these gatherings, students who persisted and worked hard also found themselves losing weight, being able to hold down a full-time job, quitting smoking, reducing personal stress, ending therapy, etc.

WHAT IS MY COMMITMENT?

What we ask of you is a commitment to attend class weekly. You can attend as long as you like, and the majority of our current students have been coming from 3 to 16 years. This is not a program where you get a certification, rather your life stands as testimony to the progress you make.
Not only do you have the weekly class, but you also can take part in our annual student retreat and periodic gatherings at no additional cost except to help with food. And, for as long as you are a student, you can be a part of our membership plan for no cost. In addition, you are provided with a full membership at no cost!
We offer all of this to you for $125 a month, regardless of attendance. You can come for as long as you wish and stop any time. Payment is made at class.

TESTIMONIAL

Before I came, life was confusing, angry, and lonely. I felt depressed, and I didn’t know who I was.
My greatest benefit was stepping out of my western beliefs and realizing life is so much more than my physical body. I have improved on setting my boundaries and learned to free myself from expectations of others.
I think people should come to class if they want to learn more about themselves and the universe. Class puts life in a grand perspective that makes you feel a part of something bigger. If you want to understand how deeply energy affects us and our lives, it will help you move through life without second-guessing every move you make.
Diana, student since 2020
