If I tell you this, you'll think I'm crazy!
We know all about that at A Place of Light. That's why we made a documentary called, Not Crazy, Not Alone.
(Doesn't everyone levitate to reach the top shelf?) |

The Story Behind
NOT CRAZY, NOT ALONE
In 2006, Susan Gale began teaching the signature course, Living in Your Heart, which helped people come to an understanding of their intuition. This was its sole intent. People learned how they connected intuitively and how to control those connections.
After about three years of teaching, some students began to make casual remarks about no longer needing to be in therapy or having to take any more anti-psychotic medications. Susan Gale was shocked as first, she had never thought of any of the students as having mental illness issues, and second, she had had no idea they were in therapy or taking medication. What was going on??? |
As the years went by, more people were remarking on this and others were talking about being able to be in crowds, ride the train, be around people with ease. Again, Susan Gale was equally surprised as she did not know these social settings caused difficulties. These realities were outside her experience. Her research surprised her even more! The descriptions of schizophrenia and bipolar had many identical characteristics to being a medium and an empath!
Again, what was going on?? Could it be that by managing one's intuitive abilities that one also improved one's mental health?? This was an almost unbelievable thought for Susan to grasp.

However, finally, the remarks were too common to ignore; and she determined around 2010 that a documentary needed to be made to let the world know of this possibility. Was it true for everyone? No one at A Place of Light knew that for sure, but we all knew it was a definite possibility!
Plans were almost finalized with a LA producer; but the lockdown occurred, and everything ground to a halt. Then, as it often happens, a producer was found practically right at home. Susan had worked with David Kennedy to produce videos for the course, Stand With Strength, and everyone was impressed with his talent. David had also studied with Susan and understood what was being accomplished, as he too had experienced a profound change in his life through the study. David was very enthusiastic about producing the documentary, and Not Crazy, Not Alone, after 11 long years, was finally going to be produced. Before we knew it, the Gathering Room had been transformed into a recording studio!
